Yes. Steam effectively dissolves grease, limescale, dirt, and microorganisms – without using cleaning agents. This is due to the high temperature and pressure, which break down organic residues and loosen dirt from surfaces.

Yes, the Rennoa SteamCleaner uses a cord and is not wireless. It requires constant power to heat the water to high-temperature steam. The power cable is 1.5 meters long, and it comes with a 2-meter steam hose, which provides good reach during use. For larger areas, we recommend using a standard extension cord.

Yes, Rennoa™ SteamCleaner can be used on carpets. The steam kills dust mites and their eggs, and is gentler than chemical cleaning, which can leave residues in the carpet. Remember to vacuum afterwards to completely remove dead dust mites, eggs, and dirt.

Dust mites die already at about 55–60 °C. The Rennoa SteamCleaner emits steam at over 100 °C, which quickly kills them. Keep the nozzle close to the surface and move it slowly – about 5–10 seconds per area of approximately 10×10 cm is enough for the heat to penetrate the fabric. Make sure to cover the entire surface systematically and let the material dry afterwards.

Most bacteria die at temperatures above 60 °C, but to achieve a disinfecting effect, steam typically needs to be over 80–100 °C. Rennoa™ SteamCleaner produces steam at about 100 °C, which is effective against many common bacteria.

The Rennoa™ SteamCleaner can effectively help remove surface mold on hard, dense surfaces such as tiles, grout, glass, metal, and enamel.

The steam is heated to about 100 °C, which is sufficient to kill mold spores on the surface. Combined with pressure, the steam also loosens the mold's organic residues, making them easier to wipe away.

Note, however:

• Steam does not remove mold deep inside materials (e.g., drywall or wood), where the mold has grown into the structure.
• For deeper or persistent problems, you should combine with mold removers or professional treatment.
• Never use the steam cleaner on untreated or absorbent materials where moisture can penetrate and worsen the problem.

Yes, the SteamCleaner is designed to be easy to move around. It has an integrated handle, so you can easily carry it with you around the house while cleaning. At the same time, the flexible hose means you don’t have to move the machine itself all the time.

Our SteamCleaner is ready to use in about 15 seconds so you can clean quickly.

Yes, that is completely normal. For the first 2–5 seconds, it may spray a little water while it heats up and builds pressure. This is just residual water being pushed out of the system.

1. Turn off and unplug.
2. Open the lid at the top.
3. Fill up to 1250 ml of tap water (you can use distilled water to minimize limescale, but it is not required).
4. Close the lid tightly.
5. After use, you can empty the water by pulling out the plug at the bottom.

SteamCleaner typically operates at 60–85 dB during use. In smaller rooms, the sound may be perceived as louder because the steam works more concentrated. If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend using, for example, AirPods or headphones during use.

SteamCleaner can be used on an incredible number of surfaces – here are some of the most obvious:

The kitchen: Remove grease from ovens, range hoods, refrigerators, sinks, grills, and countertops. Clean effectively around food residues and hard-to-reach corners.

Tiles and ceramics: Restore the shine to ceramic surfaces and remove stains and dirt between grout lines – quickly and without wear.

The car: Steam clean seats, door edges, mats, and the dashboard – effectively and without chemicals.

The living room: Refresh sofas, armchairs, and leather furniture. Removes stains and bad odors.

The bedroom: Clean mattresses and upholstered furniture – reduce dust mites and allergens with steam treatment.

The bathroom: Remove limescale, soap scum, and bacteria in the toilet, shower, and sink. Especially effective against stains and stubborn dirt.

Other things it can be used for:

• Defrosting the freezer

• Stoves and ventilation grilles
• Garden gates and patio furniture

NOTE: Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first – especially on delicate or untreated materials.

You should not use the steam cleaner on items and surfaces that cannot withstand steam. This includes (but is not limited to):

• Unsealed wooden floors
• Laminate floors
• Soft plastic
• Painted and lacquered surfaces with damage
• Plaster, cork, and raw wood
• Delicate fabrics such as velour and acrylic
• Wallpaper and old materials

Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first – especially on fabrics and surfaces you are unsure about. The user is responsible for ensuring that materials can withstand steam. Rennoa ApS disclaims liability for damage caused by improper use.

To keep your SteamCleaner in top condition:

• Always empty the water tank after use.
• Tap water is fine. If you want less limescale buildup, you can use distilled water – especially if you live in an area with hard water.
• Descale with vinegar or descaling agent if the steam becomes weak.
• Clean the nozzles with the included cleaning stick.
• The microfiber cloth can be rinsed in warm water or machine washed.
• Replace the rubber ring if you experience leaks around the nozzle.
• Store the device dry and without water in the tank.
