Silk should be steamed on Low or Dry, with a little distance between the head and the fabric. Wool can also be steamed with QuickSteamer, but no specific setting for wool is given.
QuickSteamer is a garment steamer. It is not a steam cleaner for the kitchen, bathroom, grout, oven, or faucet. It weighs 945 g, the tank holds 160 ml, and it heats up in around 30 seconds. The settings are called Dry, Low, and High. Suction holds the fabric against the head. Dry works more like an iron. It is not a promise that every garment will end up looking as if it had been ironed on an ironing board, and sharp pressed creases do not appear by themselves.
Which fabrics it can be used on
It is for cotton, linen, silk, wool, and synthetic fabrics, as well as shirts, dresses, curtains, and upholstery. There is no list of fabrics it must not be used on. Only silk has a setting rule.
Wool and synthetics do not have that rule. Starting on low and testing on a hidden area is a precaution, not a requirement. High is not prohibited for wool or synthetics.
Water, filter, and distance
The water should be distilled or demineralized. White flakes are limescale. Empty the tank after use. Clean the filter every 3 to 5 months. Vinegar is only for occasional descaling, approximately 1 part vinegar to 3 to 4 parts water, and never for the water that becomes steam.
With silk, keep a little distance so the suction does not pull thin fabric against the head more firmly than you want. It helps with odors and bacteria between washes. There is no percentage figure.
A wet spot on upholstery or a carpet is not what this machine is for. It does not suck dirt into a tank. Shirts and dresses in everyday fabrics are covered in the guide: https://rennoa.dk/blogs/news/sadan-damper-du-skjorter-og-kjoler-med-quicksteamer
How to steam a delicate item
- Choose Low or Dry for silk before touching the fabric, and keep a little distance.
- It can be used on wool without a named setting.
- Move in short strokes. Do not stay in one spot.
- One 160 ml filling is enough for several items. That is not a reason to stay in the same place.
- Empty the tank afterward.
The cord is 1.8 meters long, the power is 1,300 W, it operates at 220 to 240 V, and it must be plugged in. The dimensions are 14 × 10.5 × 23.5 cm. It costs 695 kr (previously 995 kr), as of September 29, 2026.

It smooths clothes with steam and suction. It does not clean grout, and it does not become a steam cleaner just because the fabric is delicate.
Frequently asked questions
Which setting should I use for silk?
Low or Dry, with a little distance. That is the only setting rule.
Which setting should I use for wool?
QuickSteamer can be used on wool, but there is no dedicated setting. High is not discouraged.
Can I use vinegar to prevent limescale from getting on the clothes?
Not in the steam water. Use distilled or demineralized water. Vinegar is only for occasional descaling, approximately 1 part to 3 to 4 parts water, and that mixture should not be steamed over the clothes.
Can I steam curtains?
It is also for curtains and upholstery, along with shirts and dresses. A stain in the fabric is a job for a stain remover, not for the garment steamer.
Can it be used as a steam cleaner in the kitchen?
No. It is a garment steamer with suction that holds the fabric against the head.
How often should the filter be cleaned?
Every 3 to 5 months. Empty the tank after use.
