What the machine does to a shirt
Hang the garment up, fill the tank, and let the head meet the fabric. The suction pulls the fabric in, so you do not have to keep holding the dress taut with your other hand. Dry works more like an iron. This does not apply to every shirt, and sharp creases do not appear by themselves. Some shirts need another pass.
One 160 ml filling is enough for several garments. It is suitable for cotton, linen, silk, wool, and synthetic fabrics, as well as shirts, dresses, curtains, and furniture upholstery. There is no setting that applies to all shirts. Use Low or Dry for silk, with a little distance.
Shirts separately, dresses separately
A shirt or dress on a hanger must be able to hang freely. The cord is 1.8 meters long, so the outlet must be nearby. Give it about 30 seconds before it is ready. Move in calm strokes, and do not remain in one spot. The suction holds the fabric when the head meets it.
Layers and lining are not the same fabric as the outer layer. It is not specified that they should use the same setting. A stain in the dress is a different task. QuickSteamer is not a stain remover, and it has no dirt tank.
How to steam a garment
- Fill the tank with distilled or demineralized water, up to 160 ml. Never pour vinegar in as steam water.
- Heat for about 30 seconds. It must remain plugged in the entire time.
- Choose Dry, Low, or High. Use Low or Dry for silk, with a little distance. The other fabrics do not have a fixed setting.
- Let the suction hold the fabric, and move in strokes. Do not remain in one spot.
- Empty the tank when you are finished. White flakes in the steam are limescale.
