A stain on a sofa or rug needs to be rinsed out of the fibers, and the water needs to be extracted again. SpotCleaner sprays water, brushes the dirt loose, and extracts the water and dirt in the same pass. It does not steam, and there is no heating time.
It is made for textiles and soft surfaces. It is for sofas, rugs, mattresses, car seats, chairs, and stairs. It is also for curtains and upholstered furniture. The surface ends up slightly damp, not dry. For grout, tiles, and kitchen countertops, use a steam cleaner, not this machine.
What happens in one pass
Fill the clean tank. When the nozzle moves over the stain, water is applied to the fibers, the brush loosens the dirt, and the suction pulls the mixture into the dirty tank. The box contains a large stain brush, a small one, a holder, and a manual in Danish and English. The hose is 1 meter long. The cord is 3 meters long, and the machine must remain plugged in. It weighs 3.2 kg and measures 33 × 23.5 × 26 cm. There is no long shaft.
Do not keep spraying the same spot. Move the head. The surface becomes only slightly damp. There is no specified number of seconds, and it is not promised that you can use the sofa again shortly afterward.
The numbers
- Clean water: 1,800 ml. You can use water up to 60 °C.
- Dirty water: 650 ml.
- Power and suction: 500 W and up to 16 kPa.
- Power supply: It runs on 220 to 240 V and 50 Hz. For cars, it is also specified as 230 V. It must be plugged in.
Sofas, rugs, and the other soft surfaces
A stubborn stain can be given another pass. That does not mean every old stain will be gone after one round. Test a small, less visible area first. Use only clean water and suitable cleaning products. Never pour flammable liquids into it.
On a rug, it is tempting to stay in one place. Do not. Short strokes keep water from accumulating. It does not promise to vacuum or lift pet hair.
Mattresses, car seats, chairs, and stairs are on the same list. That a 1-meter hose reaches both the front and back seats is not a promise. Curtains are included, but not on that list. Thin fabric should not be sprayed in one place for a long time.
How to work through the stain
- Fill the clean tank. Water up to 60 °C can be used. Never pour flammable liquids into it.
- Choose the large or small brush. It is not specified which one belongs to which surface.
- Spray, let the brush loosen the dirt, and extract in the same pass. Move the head. Do not linger.
- A stubborn stain can have another pass. Extract between passes so the fabric does not end up too wet.
- Empty the dirty tank. It holds 650 ml.

The cleaner alongside it
Water and suction are what the machine uses. The carpet cleaner is not included in the box. It costs DKK 149 separately. It is not called a chemical agent and does not promise disinfection as a result you can rely on. The ingredients are Aqua, Alcohols C12-14 ethoxylated, Sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, Sodium dodecyl sulfate, Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, Enzymes, Parfum, Methylisothiazolinone, and Benzisothiazolinone. Once the stain has been treated, the surface is still slightly damp. There is no specified time for when it will be dry again.
